Leroy Jones, Jr., is the creator of PoliticalJones.com.
Mr. Jones is the host of The PoliticalJones Report with Leroy Jones, Jr., which airs nationwide every Monday and Thursday. This includes every Monday during the "Bev Smith Show", which is America's only nationally syndicated African-American nightly talk show. The Show airs on affiliates in over 35 markets across the country on the American Urban Radio Networks.
Mr. Jones is also the National Political Commentator and Analyst for the Sheridan Gospel Network - "The Light" (SGN). He can be heard every Wednesday on "The KD Bowe Morning Show" during the morning drive, and "The Praise Party with Ace Alexander" during the afternoon drive on "The Light". Both nationally syndicated shows air on a network of affiliates in 50 markets across the country.
He has also appeared as a guest on XM Satellite Radio, Blacknews.com and various other media outlets. For over 20 years, Mr. Jones has worked in federal government affairs, including public service as an aide on both sides of Capitol Hill and the Clinton White House.
Presently, Mr. Jones is the Managing Principal of The Jones Company, LLC (TJC). Prior to his return to TJC, Mr. Jones was the the founder of the Government Relations Practice Section of Andrews & Bowe, PLLP, Mr. Jones' responsibilities included overseeing the implementation of the Firm’s lobbying activities, as well as managing substantially all internal and external communications.
In addition to his lobbying practice, Mr. Jones is also the creator of "Talking Technology with Leroy Jones, Jr." a technology blog which is supported by AT&T, that offers features on the most recent technological advances and breakthroughs, the latest tech products, and basic knowledge for those who are not technologically advanced.
Mr. Jones is also a Council Member to the internationally-renowned Gerson Lehrman Group Policy & Economics Council; and a recent Keynote Speaker of an address entitled, “Public Policy and Senior Citizens: Pressing Your Interests and Knowing Your Rights” at the First Baptist Church of Deanwood in Northeast Washington, D.C.
Mr. Jones earned his J.D. from the Howard University School of Law (1991) and his B.A. from North Carolina Central University (1985), where he was initiated into Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and was active in Student Government.
