"Moment of Truth"

Washington, D.C. (PoliticalJones.com) - "When you have eliminated the impossible, that which remains, however improbable, must be the truth."
- Frederick Douglass

Think of who we are talking about . . . the Clintons. Yes, both Senator Clinton and President Clinton.  Did you really think they were not going to go hard?

Now hold up, this is the team that was elected President of the United States twice.  Very few people have ever done that.  No one gets to be elected President of the United States unless they put everything on the line.  So let's give them their respect.  As they say, “Don’t hate the player, hate the game”.  Presidential politics is extremely tough and this race for the White House is far from over.

So, did they cross the line in attacking Senator Obama?  Of course they did.  And I’m glad they did it.  If this Brother is going to be the Democratic Presidential Nominee, he needs to be roughed up at home before he gets to run the streets with the Republicans in the fall.  He’s a Strong Brother who has faced much harder times and actions than those thrown his way during the last few weeks down in South Carolina.

The Clinton’s needed a wake up call too.  They need to understand that just because someone called him the “First Black President” does not mean he is Black!  It just means that Black Folk are cool with you!  Don’t worry Mr. and Mrs. Clinton, Black Folk still got love for you, but you have to keep it real and cut out the mess.

It is interesting to see that the majority media has figured out that race is an important issue in this campaign.  Well, of course it is.  So, if we have truly begun to move toward changing the political dynamic in this country, we should never be afraid to discuss any issue, especially the ones that makes us uncomfortable.

The “Common Folk” understand that this is not just about Black and White, or Men and Women.  This is about the American Dream.  Both Senator Obama and Senator Clinton are reaching for their dreams.

Election 2008 has become America’s  “Moment of Truth".
